This is the Shape Up! campaign. The mission to get healthier. There are four main things that will be a part of this campaign to a healthier way of life.
1. Food Journal: I am going to be writing what I put in my mouth every day. It is very important to document what you eat and drink (other than water.) So once a week I will document what I have eaten.
2. Exercise: The other important part of getting healthier is exercise. I will admit I have tried to exercise before with no success and going back to my old ways. So once a week I will document what exercising I have done.
3. The Weight: It has been over a year since I last weighed myself at around 400 pounds. And that was while using an industrial scale. So after I find a scale that will weigh high numbers. I will post a weekly weight count.
4. A Video Diary: A video update of my last week.
On every Saturday: I will post on Young’s Blog the food journal; exercise I did; and total weight on the main page. You can look for archives under the Shape Up! category. And I will also post recipes and tips I have found and tried on Young’s Blog. And even share some videos and pictures of things I am doing. The main reason I am doing this is to finally commit to a better lifestyle. I have to be held accountable this time. And if I fail and do nothing. I will hear it from the Young’s Blog readers; ABC 33/40 viewers; and listeners of the Steve and Julie show.
